Normally, a canvasser has outstanding physical capabilities for standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Through this strategy, he can have a better idea of how he can establish rapport with prospective clients. He will be very challenged to fulfill sales targets set by the company. The canvasser must be highly self-motivated to increase his sales profit daily and be able to help improve the products and services of the company. His drive to succeed shall be so strong that he is willing to take risks for the benefit of potential buyers.
The observations that the canvasser notes down for the improvement of the products and services based on potential client leads are reported to the marketing manager. The canvassing records that he makes can serve as a future reference for marketing managers who want to browse through old documents. The canvasser’s decorum must be appropriate at all times whether he is making negotiations or socializing with his team members.
